With the 2024 edition of Gothenburg Horse Show underway, Staylive has been tasked to revamp the event’s direct-to-consumer platform, GHSLive, to provide both live event coverage and exclusive content to the equine community.
Gothenburg Horse Show is back in action on February 21-25, and the event organizer has appointed Staylive - a Spring Media company - as experts in platform technology, conversion strategies, and content analysis, to host its GHSLive streaming platform, targeting equine enthusiasts not able to get to the Swedish west coast with exclusive action from Scandinavium.
“At GHSLive, we offer a comprehensive digital sports experience that not only covers the live action on the venue stage but also unique backstage insight with viewers able to follow the preparations from our warm-up arena,” says Matilda Ljungberg, Marketing Director, Gothenburg Horse Show. “We are really pleased to continue building on our offering in partnership with Staylive to learn how best to cater to our audience’s needs.”
Since its inception in 1977, Gothenburg Horse Show has attracted nearly 3 million people to the venue of Scandinavium. Hosting the first World Cup final in show jumping 1979 - and on several occasions since - the event has been awarded the title "Home of the FEI World Cup" by the International Federation, FEI.
"We look forward to our partnership with one of Sweden's and the equestrian world's most prestigious events,” said Linus Jonsson, Commercial Director, Staylive. “Our contribution to digital development and packaging is both exciting and strategically important. Thanks to our experience from other sports and events, we can offer an enriched digital experience for equine enthusiasts, with more content and a deeper presence.”
The GHSLive platform offers various forms of viewership options: from freemium to premium offers, including both day- and weekend passes.
